The Big Brother & the Holding Company album Cheap Thrills was released by Columbia records in 1968. And "Combination of the Two" sung by Janis Joplin was the first song on Side 1. The original cover illustrated by underground comix icon Robert Crumb went on to be voted among the Top Ten album cover designs of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.
