2011 Top Selling R. Crumb T-shirts at Keep On Truckin Apparel
Once again this year our Top Seller was KK-001 The Keep On Truckin' Guys.
#1--Robert Crumb's Keep on Truckin, also called the Do-Dah men, this big footed gang first appeared in Zap Comix No. 1 in 1967. They were inspired by a visual riff of the Blind Boy Fuller song "Truckin' My Blues Away" and later referenced in the Grateful Dead song "Truckin" from the 1970's album American Beauty.
This classic tee is available in both short and long sleeve versions as well as a hooded sweatshirt.
#2--KK-251 Keep On Truckin, this single trucker introduced part way through the year has quickly moved up the chart to the number two spot, it may displace the Keep On Truckin' gang next year. Also available in both short and long sleeve comfy tees as well as our plush hooded sweatshirt.
#3--MN-028 Mr. Natural Raising Hope. Featured on the Fox Network hit series "Raising Hope" this Mr. Natural t-shirt image captures the saucy sage, in a quiet moment of introspection and reflection.
#4--MN-012 Mr. Natural Struttin'. From our organic collection, that dispenser of wisdom Mr. Natural - or "Natch" - as he is known to his friends.
#5--Fritz the Cat, "Hi Kids!" Last, but by no means least, of the top five, that bad boy -Fritzy-Meow!!
Predictions for next year, early sales indicate the newly introduced Mr. Natural t-shirt "Quest into the Unknown", may rocket to the top five for 2012.
Happy Holidays!
